Lots of bowling took place in Columbus Ohio over Memorial Day weekend as bowlers from around the world converged for IGBO's 30th Annual Tournament. SCBL was well represented and several members even took home some prizes - some for their bowling and others as lucky raffle winners.

Worried about missing a week of league bowling? Don't worry! The Steel City Bowling League Policies and Procedures include the following clause that is meant to encourage participation in IGBO tournaments:
TOURNAMENTS
When a bowler is attending an IGBO tournament, it is considered an excused absence without using one of your excused absences. You will receive 100% of your average. When attending an IGBO tournament, you must provide proof of attendance to the League Secretary. When an entire team is attending an IGBO tournament, legal lineup rules do not apply if the team provides proof of attendance at the tournament.
